MICROWAVE DOWN CONVERTER 3GHz TO 9GHz

The OMDC-900/920 down converts High Definition component digital to 10-bit SDI, Composite and Y at the same time. In addition, the OMDC-900 provides a serialized HD-SDI output from Sony HDCAMs. The Composite signal allows the use of existing, inexpensive monitors. The MDC-900/920 provides a built in aspect ratio converter allowing the display of 16:9 images in 4:3 monitors. The OMDC-900/920’s built in 4:3 and 16:9 graticule generator allows on screen display of aspect ratio markers. The OMDC-900/920’s low power consumption and small integrated package make it ideal for field applications where it can be attached directly to the camera and powered using standard camera battery power.
